The Herbal Holiday

It is the darkest time of year when we are encouraged to show more light in the honor of “goodwill towards men”! Christmas, Solstice, Kwanza, Hanukkah, Noel and really the new season of Winter! In honor of the season, I wanted to give to you some herbal love and infuse your soul with some ideas for beautiful healing gifts! I hope these inspire you and help to serve others! Peace*

Aromatic Combinations
Patchouli/Ylang Ylang
Clove/Ylang Ylang
Orange/Lavender
Lavender/Clary Sage
Lavender/Clove
Cinnamon/Ylang Ylang
Rose Geranium/Orange
Spearmint/Rosemary
Peppermint/Spearmint
Fir/Spruce/Pine
Chamomile/Rose
Rose/Sandalwood


Bath Salts
2 cups of Epsom Salts
150 drops of Essential Oil

Aromatherapy Skin oil
2 oz. Of Grapeseed Oil
25 drops of Essential Oil

Sugar Scrub
2 cups of Any Kind Of Sugar
1 cup of Grapeseed or Apricot Oil
Or Even Pure Plain Lotion
150 drops of Essential Oil

Aromatherapy Spritzers
4 oz Spritzer Bottle
Fill with Non Tap H20
40 drops of Essential Oil

Herbal Honey
Use can add a TBSP. of herbs to 1 cup of honey or more or less to taste.
Add flower petals to honey like....rose or lavender
Add vanilla beans.
Add ginger.
Add lemon.
Add lemon balm or mints.
Add cinnamon.
Add garlic.

Aromatherapy Honey
Add 1 drop of high grade essential oils to ¼ cup of honey.
Try rose or jasmine. Use in tea or use as a facial.

Tea blends are given in parts.

Calming Tea Blend
2 pt chamomile
2 pt lemon balm
¼ pt lavender
Blend and use 1 tsp per 1 cup h20.

Rooibos Rastafari Tea
1 vanilla bean chopped up to 1 cup of rooibos tea.

Detoxify Tea Blend
2 pt nettles
2 pt red clover
2 pt dandelion
1 pt peppermint
1 pt spearmint
Blend and use as desired.


Herbal Vinegars
Add fresh or dried herbs into a quart jar, cover with apple cider vinegar. Infuse for one moon cycle or 4 to 6 weeks. Strain and use for everything. Try fruit or herbs. Add honey to taste if you want to your potion before you seal it up. Raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, cherries, pomegranate, elderberry, hawthorn, rose hip etc...
Try garlic, horseradish, onion, nettles, horsetail, rosemary, lemon balm, peppermint, lavender, rose etc...
Use as salad dressings or hair rinses or facial toners!
Use 1 tsp vinegar to 1 tsp honey in a glass of h2o first thing in the morning to alkalize your chemistry.

Skin Melts
Melt cocoa butter. Add a few drops of essential oil into some molds. Pour the melted cocoa butter in the molds and allow to set. Pop them out and you have little body butters or throw one in the bath!
