The Art Of Nutritional Smoothies

Smoothies are a great way to easily obtain vitamins and minerals into the diet. Any extra nutrition that we can add into our diet the better, Seriously, it is like the old adage, "drink more water" . 
Its true!
I have never been a fan of mixed powder blend smoothie mixes that you find at the store. There are some great ones,  I'm sure, however, I feel that most are loaded with sugar or unnecessary ingredients that I am not personally interested in. Different people have different dietary requirements, so you have to decide what is for you. Try some of these nutrients and blend together ahead of time or just add them in, one by one to the blender or the vitamix or the nutribullet!! 


Frozen fruit like Blueberries
Fats like Coconut oil, Hemp oil 
Seeds like Flax or Chia
Nut butters like Almond
Liquids like juice, milk, cream, water, tea, Aloe Vera juice
Greens like Chlorophyll, Chorella, Spirulina or Seaweed
B Vitamin Rich Nutritional Yeast or Lecithin
Antiinflammatory MSM or Turmeric
Herbs Like Nettles, Violets, Malva, Comfrey, Horsetail, 
Red Clover, Oats are mineral rich
Heating plants like Ginger, Cayenne
Cooling plants like Peppermint, Lemon Balm or Rose
Even Collagen powder
