Herbs vs.Virus
©Anne Calzada Herbalist

With the pandemic spread of the coronavirus and more so the fear of it, so many people have asked me about it.
Here are some herbal tools that you can add to your apothecary!
Microbes live within us and we are exposed to them daily. Most of the time, we are in a healthy and balanced state. Sometimes, however, our immunity is compromised. Learn to boost your health.
To prevent illness and sickness, start with common sense.
Wash your hands. Avoid touching your moth, nose or eyes. They are entry points.
Stay hydrated!
Drink lots of water. Juice, tea and broths.
Take a multivitamin and 1000 mg of Vitamin C a day.
Probiotics can be taken as a supplement or eat foods that are high in probiotics. Optimally, do both.
Nourish your body with food.
Add garlic, ginger, cinnamon, cayenne and turmeric to your dishes.
Take aromatherapy baths with essential oils.
Use eucalyptus, lavender or rosemary. They are antiviral, stimulate circulation and cleanse the aura.
Use your breath and mind to calm your body, mind and spirit. Meditate on what you want.
Repeat the mantra and affirm "I am totally healthy".
Make yourself some herbal tea blends.
Here are a few to get you started.
