Herbal Immunity Powdered Blends

As Winter has started, I have been formulating some herbal blends  together. They are so convenient to use for different things, drinks and foods. You can sprinkle some onto or into your meal when needed for health and wellness. 
These blends are medicinal, nutritional and unique because they are from your kitchen, not from the store. 
Here are a few recipes for you.
In general, these are dried herbs that are easy to find. Make the blend and then use the amount that you want in your food or drink. 

Turmeric Blend
1 part Turmeric
1/2 part Ginger
1/4 part Cinnamon
This blend is a circulatory stimulant, anti-inflammatory, warming, antiviral, antibacterial, digestive blend. add to smoothies or soups.

Rosemary Blend
2 part Nutritional Yeast
1/2 part Rosemary
1/2 part Garlic
Blend and add to popcorn, anything that toy make cheese with. High in B vitamins, it is antiviral and antibacterial and antioxidant. 

Green Blend
1 part Nettles
1 part Kelp
1 part Chorella
Mineral, vitamin rich and supportive. Rebuilds the body. Add to smoothies, soups.  


Holiday Blend
1 part Clove
1/4 part Cinnamon
Use for hot cocoa, oatmeal, cookies or yogurt. This blend is a circulatory stimulant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral and antibacterial.

Wellness Blend
1 part Echinacea 
1/4 part Ginger 
1 Astragalus 
Put in a muslin cloth bag or cooking cloth bag. Add to soup and remove the bag when ready. This is a strong antiviral blend, use when you feel a cold coming on. Nourishing. 

Digestive Blend
1 part Fennel
1 part Coriander
1 part Mint
For soothing flatulence, digestive upset and strengthening digestive functioning. Antibacterial. Add to soups, stews, bean dishes. 

Flower Blend
1 part Rose
1 part Lavender
For a calmimg, beautifying experience. Amtioxidant, antiviral and antibacterial. Use in yogurt, oatmeal, cookies, waffles, smoothies and cocoa.
