Herbs For The Otherside

© By Anne Calzada Herbalist

Herbs have been used since the beginning of time by many cultures to send the dead on their way home. Deciding which plants or how to use them is up to you. These are a few of the traditional plants   that are cherished during the great transition time of death.

Death.

It holds different meanings to many, but we all agree on the fact that the spirit is no longer in the physical body. When a spirit is holding on for whatever reason, you may feel it. If you feel that praying and creating ceremony for this loved one may help, of course. Help on the way.

People have different spiritual and religious beliefs, but we all agree on the power of plants to shift and transform energies into the vibration of the highest good and divine right order.

Here are a few plants that can be burned or buried with your beloveds.

Roses

Marigolds

White Sage

Sagebrush

Lavender

Pine

Calendula

Sweetgrass

Tobacco

Cedar

Yarrow

Palo Santo

Daisy

Lily

Peppermint

Frankincense

Myrhh

Sage

Copal

Sunflower

Bay

Rosemary

Mugwort

And many more...

These plants facilitate movement of energy with a high honor. We are born and we die, but really we are just transforming our energy.

If you would like an herbal blend for a loved one, if you would like your home cleansed and blessed.
