Herbs For Dreams
Our subconscious and auric centers cleanse while we are sleeping. Our Spirit communicates during this time in dreamland. You may have prophetic dreams, beautiful encounters of the sensual kind, nightmares or you may not even remember your dreams at all. Often, pharmaceutical drugs and alcohol play a part in disruptive dream state patterns, so be aware of that. Watching the "news" or reading negativity on the internet before bed can contribute to bad vibrations that you just don't need. Turn it off. Infuse the room with the sound of your breath or play calming sounds like Nature, mantras or classical music. Say your Prayers and suture your Soul before you enter into dreamland. Send your Love and Blessings out! Ask your subconscious to help you remember your dreams or reveal information to you through your dream time. Use your dreams as a tool. Journal what you dream of when you first wake up in the morning. Stay in bed and write it down before you get up. If you can't remember your dreams, do you remember how you felt? Record any observations every morning. Regular normal sleep will help to ground you, enabling you to work with your dream intentions easier.Work with the Moon, which is the planet associated with dreams, as is the element of water. Work with your plant allies! They Love you and want nothing more than to help you and be Loved back! Smudge yourself and your environment. Use your flower and gemstone essences. Drink a calming nervine brew an hour before bed. Make sure you have adequate greens, fats and minerals to make your sleep/dream time smooth and comforting. Take an herbal or aromatherapy bath. Use a dream pillow. Spritz your pillow with oils before bed. Anoint with Sacred oils/blends. Here's to the sweetest of dreams!

 Meditation/Pranayama/Yoga
Start with the mind and the breath.
Just sitting and breathing in a comfortable seated position with a straight spine will immediately help with tension. Meditation clears the mind and resets the subconscious. Essential for daily life.
 Nadis Pranayama
In a comfortable seated position, bring hands to guyan mudra. Close off the left nostril with the ring finger of the right hand and deeply inhale through the right. Cover the right nostril with the right thumb and exhale through the left nostril. Inhale deeply through the left and exhale through the right. Continue. See the words "Healthy" or "Blessed" or "Beautiful"on the forehead as you breathe. This balances the left and right hemispheres of the brain, creating neural energy reserves. Preparing your brain for a peaceful rest. 
6 Count Breath
Opens the bronchioles and lungs flooding the brain and body with cleansing oxygen. Good for asthmatics.
In a seated comfortable position, use a 6 count sniff/inhale and a 9 count sniff/exhale to calm and center the nervous system. Focus on the brow point.
Yoga 
Any yoga asanas will help to calm and center the body, mind and spirit. Inversions, forward bends and backward bends in particular will flush the head and glands with nutrients, clearing neural pathways in the brain and balancing hormonal secretions.The big toes of the feet represent the pituitary and pineal glands.



Plant Medicine

Crystal Ball Remembrance Blend 
 For helping you to recall your dreams.
3 Part Clary Sage Essential Oil
1 Part Rosemary Essential Oil

Sweet Slumber Blend 
Infuse peace and Light into your dreams! 
3 Part Lavender Essential Oil
1 Part Chamomile Essential Oil 
 
 Blend and use as anointing oils, diffuse them, bathe with them, spritz your pillow!

Catnip Lemon Balm Brew
3 Part Lemon Balm
1 Part Catnip
Blend and use a heaping tsp. per cup of water. 
For sweet dreams!

Chamomile/Red Clover Milk
1 Part Chamomile
1 Part Red Clover 
Pinch of Nutmeg
Blend and infuse 1 TBSP. of Chamomile/Red Clover blossoms into 1 cup of milk of your choice. Infuse and slowly warm on the stove. Strain and add honey to taste. 
It will soothe and ease your nervous system, promoting good dreams.  

  Remembrance Dream Pillow Blend 
3 Part Rosemary
 2 Part Mugwort
1 Part Spearmint
For dream recall.

Protection Dream Pillow Blend
3 Part White Sage
3 Part Yarrow 
1/8th Part Sea Salt  
For nightmares.
Blend and sew into a cloth and keep in your pillow case.

Bach Flower Rescue Remedy
Made of five flowers...Impatiens, Star Of Bethlehem, Cherry Plum, Rock Rose, Clematis. 
For shock, trauma, injury, emotional upset, stress, nightmares. Protective, calming, centering and Light enhancing. A calm nervous system will help you to rest and remember.

 Wear them, use a gemstone elixir, keep them by your bed, soak in the bath and meditate with one, sit with one. Keep crystals in the home to raise the vibratory patterns.
Quartz
The "ever ready" amplifier.

Diamond/Herkimer Diamond
Used in dream recall, amplifying, lightening, brightening.

Amethyst 
Promotes peaceful and calming vibrations/dreams enhancing the intuition.

Lapis
Balancing to the 6th and 7th chakras which are the Pineal/Pituitary Axis.
